Blagdon Fresh Start makes tap water safe by removing chlorine, chloramine and heavy metals which are harmful to fish and other water borne wildlife. A dechlorinator such as Blagdon Fresh Start should be used when ponds are first filled up and whenever a pond is topped up with tap water, to make the water safe. Fresh Start also contains Aloe Vera which promotes healing and helps to protect delicate fish membranes.
