Extensive research by Vetark has resulted in the creation of Fluke-Solve Plus, a specially developed product for the treatment of resistant flukes which are causing serious problems in koi. Vetark Fluke-Solve Plus uses a combination of the proven technology of Fluke-Solve (praziquantel) with a new active ingredient (nitroscanate and emamectin benzoate). The special formulation of praziquantel, which easily and rapidly dissolves in ponds and tanks, combined with nitroscanate and emamectin benzoate, means you can see it dispersing through the water as soon as you add it to your pond or tank.  Fluke Solve Plus is suitable for use in ponds containing koi carp exclusively, including in the presence of salt when added as a therapeutic. Fish can be fed normally during treatment. Fluke Solve Plus is also safe with biofilters and plants. Treatment: Use for the treatment of tapeworms as well as skin and gill flukes. Fluke-Solve Plus can be used in a pond without affecting either the bacterial filters or the plants. It is effective at temperatures from 3°C. Suitable for use in the presence of salt. Dosage: Use at a rate of 4g powder per 1000 litres of water. First add the required quantity of Fluke-Solve Plus powder to 10 litres of pond water in a clean container and stir. Immediately add this stock solution to the pond water with the fish. Rinse out the container with pond water and add to the pond. If necessary a separate tank can be used to immerse the fish for the treatment period of at least 24 hours. In the case of egg-laying flukes, a second treatment 3 weeks later after the initial one is recommended to ensure that all the hatching larvae are killed. Warnings/Storage: For use in ponds containing Koi Carp exclusively. Do not use at the same time as any other treatment. Isolate any protein skimmers, carbon or any other neutralising products. For use in fish in closed water systems. Store in a cool dry place. If it is impossible to use all of the contents once the packet has been opened keep in the original sachet and reseal after use - the contents will keep until the expiry date on the packet. Dispose of any unused product according to Local Authority requirements. Turn off UV for 7 days. Do not use in animals or fish other than those indicated. Serious reactions, including deaths, have been reported in dogs (especially Collies, Old English Sheepdogs and related breeds), tortoises and turtles treated with products containing related active substances.
